GENERAL STATEMENT: Under general supervision, the Recruitment Specialist is responsible for supporting the Company’s recruitment and hiring processes. Serving as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, the general duties include full-cycle recruitment, supporting New Hire processes, and providing administrative support as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for full-cycle recruitment of candidates for Company positions, including:
- Source candidates from a variety of recruiting avenues.
- Identify new recruitment avenues and making appropriate recommendations to Human Resources Manager.
- Conduct phone screens according to company procedures.
- Conduct first round interviews and make recommendations to hiring manager.
- Coordinate and schedule second round interview with trainer.
- Prepare correspondence to disqualified candidates.
- Track and reporting recruitment statistics to management.
- Make job offers to candidates and coordinating New Hire Orientation.
- Process and ensure I-9 compliance in line with Federal law.
- Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation to educate new employees on HR policies, internal procedures, sexual harassment, and regulations.
- Create employee personnel files in accordance with legal requirements and company procedures, including auditing to ensure all required documentation is included.
- Assist with file maintenance processes and including audits.
- Enter new hires into HRIS system and conduct background checks.
- File background check documents via HR Drive.
- Prepare and maintain staffing reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related items.
- Perform general administrative HR duties and other duties as assigned by management and HR Generalist.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred. Prior recruitment experience preferred. Proficient in all MS Office applications.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Basic ability to converse and write in English is preferred; able to read and comprehend simple instructions; and effectively communicate with management and employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires constant sitting or standing, some walking around, and occasionally lifting no more than 20 lbs.
