What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Server Technician position at F2ONSITE?
As Server Technician, your responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining server systems.
We are looking for an Enterprise Technician to support Dell Servers and low end storage. The location would be in Franklin Park, IL.
Technician will be trained and brought up to speed on site, but MUST have previous exposure to servers and Dell devices.
Job Description:
- Your primary responsibility will be installing diagnosing, servicing maintaining Servers as well as other computer-related products such as desktop and laptop computers, printers, and standard software.
- You may be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools.
- You will handle more complex products, problems, and/or projects and may provide technical guidance to lower-level engineers.
- You may function as a team or on-site leader as necessary.
- You will provide technical support to customers in solving technical problems that occur during the installation or operation of company supported products.
Responsibilities:
- May function as team or site leader providing direction to other technicians.
- Possesses other, high skilled, specialized technical skills.
- Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops and most importantly, servers.
- Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripherals.
- Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.
- Tests and certifies PCs, networks and approved applications.
- Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.
- Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.
- Must have experience with Dell and supporting Dell Servers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
