Associate, User Experience Writing (Senior UX Writer) Country: United States of America WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING The Santander Bank User Experience Team is looking for someone who is motivated, brings a positive attitude, is a life-long learner, and wants to collaborate with a team that researches and designs experiences for millions of users. You are passionate about proactively identifying and solving problems for users. You are familiar with user-centered research & design principles. You are interested in actively collaborating with a team, as well as working independently when necessary. Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements: Collaborate with designers, researchers, developers and business team to define new concise copy and enhance existing copy for web, iOS, and Android experiences Incorporates our Voice and Tone Guidelines into their work Contributes to our Voice and Tone Guidelines, setting standards for UI Copy, servicing emails, servicing text messages, and push notifications Assists in estimations for copywriting needs across multiple projects and products Defines, maintains, and enforces consistent terminology/nomenclature through Digital copy Shares copywriting best practices, and “do’s and don’ts” through the broader organization Works with UX Researchers to evaluate and improve copy through usability testing Performs additional administrative functions as needed Qualifications: 6 years overall of experience in UX Writing or related work 3 years of experience writing for native iOS and Android apps 3 years of experience writing for SMS, push notifications, and email 2 years of experience with design tools such as Sketch or Figma and can make small copy changes without the help of a designer Familiar with usability testing methodologies and agile processes Familiar with the Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design Guidelines Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook A portfolio that showcases your writing and process is desired Education: BS/BA degree or higher Work Experience: 6 years; relevant and related work experience Skills and Abilities: Ability communicate well through oral and written communications and actively collaborate with others Ability to meet deadlines, deconstruct complex requirements, and provide critical analysis Ability to present your work to stakeholders #LI-Hybrid Diversity & EEO Statements: At Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
