Regional Sales Manager
Las Vegas or Reno, Nevada

Who Are We?
We build products and relationships that last a lifetime! No really, that s what we do. We are a successful veteran-led family business with a long-term record of steady growth, and we are determined to accelerate our trajectory. Our products sit at the top of their categories for both price and quality. Check out our website at www.strong-hold.com. Yep, we still make simple storage products out of steel in Louisville, KY. No, we re not crazy!
We Are Not:
- Fancy - we are manufacturers who believe beautiful facilities are NOT required to make quality products or retain the best team members.
- High Tech - we incorporate technology into our products and business processes where appropriate, but technology doesn t drive us. We should be and we re excited to bring in new talent who will push us in this direction.
- Transactional - we have long term relationships with our most valuable customers.
- Satisfied - we celebrate achievement, then set our sights on new goals.
What we re looking for:
- 5 years experience selling premium products through distribution. You already know how to maintain and expand a customer base.
- Travel, travel, travel. You enjoy being on the road and exploring new areas in your region. Looking at approximately 50% travel time.
- Someone who wants to win, needs to know the score at all times. You have demonstrated success by achieving regional sales operational objectives time and time again.
- You know the difference between leading and lagging indicators… and you know the importance of each by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews..
- You really enjoy resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining regional sales system improvements, and implementing change when necessary.
- Lots of patience, high emotional intelligence, and a self starter. The ability and desire to work independently, while keeping the boss updated.
- You re super comfortable using (maybe even configuring) a CRM and you know how to make the system work for you.
- You are an expert! It is easy for you to recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities or product, packaging, and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, and tracking competitors.
- You understand that Microsoft Excel is a necessary evil, but you re good at it anyway. In other words, you feel right at home building a new spreadsheet or using a pivot table to analyze data.
What's in it for you?
- A healthy base salary plus a NICE quarterly bonus.
- Of course, all the benefits. Company 401k match, medical, dental, vision & life insurance.
- Great company culture. We work hard and celebrate our achievements!
Preferred:
- Proved your intelligence and determination by completing a Bachelor s degree.
- 5 years of manufacturing sales experience or similar industry.
If you think just showing up can get the job done, this job is not for you. We want someone who is ready to dig in and get their hands dirty.
