Meta's Competition Policy team is seeking a Public Policy Manager to lead our efforts crafting positions on competition policy on proposed legislation, regulation, products, and policies. You will work with cross-functional teams across Meta to devise and execute on public policy campaigns and to advance Meta's mission to build community and bring the world closer together.Successful candidates must be able to identify broad trends in the public policy conversation, competently engage with external stakeholders on policy issues related to competition and technology regulation, and quickly assess competition legislative and regulatory proposals.
Responsibilities: Analyze and develop competition policy strategy and positionsIdentify, monitor, and analyze congressional/regulatory competition issues impacting MetaRepresent Meta on competition policy issues to external policy stakeholdersArticulate our policy positions in talking points, briefing papers, consultation responses, and internal policy meetingsAdvise Meta teams on competition policy matters to guide development of services and policiesAdvance Meta's competition policy priorities within the broad U.S. public policy community and provide feedback to external stakeholders on their policy effortsAnalyze ecosystem developments in real time -in policy, legal, and business spheres- and provide contextualized updates to internal stakeholdersProactively identify and assess opportunities and risks to Meta's competition policy priorities
Minimum Qualifications: Experience working in technology and related policy issuesCompetition law, economics, or policy experience
