Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing Fahe’s recruitment process; working closely with Hiring Managers to manage sourcing, interviewing and employment processes; training and coaching Hiring Managers to ensure all hiring processes are compliant; keeping up to date on current employment legislation; assisting with the creation of job descriptions; providing recruitment reports; and promoting the organizations reputation and attractiveness as a great place to work. The recruiter will also monitor new and existing employees and act as their advocate.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online, employment forums, social media, etc.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria, list of requirements for each position, and script out interviews.
- Work with Hiring Managers to ensure procedures are communicated and clear expectations set for the hiring process; advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
- Research and implement new sourcing methods to include the opportunity to receive more diversity in candidates
- Manage our online platform Hireology, post ads, review applicants, train managers, ensure appropriate access is given to hiring managers and that applicants are being responded to in a timely manner
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews ensuring equity and fairness to all applicants
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Complete reference checks and background checks on all candidates prior to extending an offer
- Extend all job offers, this may be in partnership with the Hiring Manager
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Coordinate with management to forecast future hiring needs
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire
- Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
- Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners
- Create and manage internship programs
- Onboarding of new employees.
- Represents Fahe in the most positive manner with prospective, former, and current Members, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve. Interacts effectively with a diverse group of staff and customers of our services.
- Handles confidential information with tact and discretion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements for this position include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Availability to travel
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Preferred degree in Human Resource Management
- Proven experience as a recruiter in a similar role, 4-5 years preferred; hands on experience with job sites and processes; social media savvy
- SHRM-CP and/or SPHR is a plus
