Want Ad – Ob/Gyn Medical Assistant
We have an opening for a full-time medical assistant for a busy private practice ob/gyn medical group. Minimum 1-year medical assisting and/or medical back office experience preferred.
Duties include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining a medical history, taking vital signs, giving injections, assisting the physician during routine exams and procedures, handling specimens, stocking and cleaning exam rooms, talking to patients on the phone and charting using an electronic medical record. We expect our new employee to show up to work on time, in a good mood, able and willing to stay a little late or arrive early sometimes, and to pitch in and help co-workers as needed.
We are looking for someone who is warm, friendly, honest, a great team player, and who can do their work quickly yet carefully. You should be very good at communicating with patients. English language skills, good spelling and phone manners and knowing medical terminology are very important. Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Outlook e-mail are needed.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS IN PLACE
All providers, staff and patients must wear masks while in the office. Temp checking is done daily for everyone. No visitors are allowed. Lunch must be eaten more than 6 feet from co-workers (or off-site). Nobody is allowed to come to work with any possible COVID symptoms, even a sore throat. COVID testing when needed is paid for by us.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
