About this role
Faire is looking for an IT Support Technician to join the Faire IT team in San Francisco. You’ll provide world-class technical service and support to our internal teams and take on challenges related to SaaS and cloud-based systems,endpoint hardware and software, network infrastructure, audio/visual and conference room hardware, and many other areas. This role will be responsible for the provisioning of technical equipment for new and existing employees (both local and abroad) and will be a primary point of contact for all things IT-related for our Toronto office. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the latest technology, is a self-starter, and is eager to learn and grow with us.
What you’ll do
- Assume a primary role in the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents and problems
- Field issues and requests from users and troubleshoot technical problems to find solutions
- Administer SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, Atlassian, etc.
- Work with teams across the organization to create an amazing experience for all new hires both in-office and remote
- Manage software and hardware licenses and services
- Setup and troubleshoot A/V for conference rooms and collaboration spaces
- Evaluate existing and upcoming processes, and provide feedback for improvements
- Anticipate and plan for issues and needs as Faire grows and scales
- Create high-quality documentation for both colleagues and end users
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and maintenance
Qualifications
- 2 years in and IT Support role
- Strong dedication to creating an amazing employee service experience
- Demonstrated experience managing Macs, SaaS products, and A/V solutions
- Experience delivering long-term solutions to technical problems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of basic networking
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Comfortable digging into dense, technical details
- Passion for technology, driven to keep up with the latest trends
- Strong service orientation and passion for delivering innovative solutions
- Elite technical troubleshooting ability
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Collaborative and team oriented
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Salary Range
California: the pay range for this role is $68,000 to $93,500
Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity and benefits.
