What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at Fairfield Inn by Marriott?
The Breakfast Attendant is a key member of our Fairfield Inn by Marriott team, responsible for ensuring that guests start their day with an outstanding breakfast experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding guest service at every turn, greeting guests when they arrive for breakfast and assisting them during their meal.
Inspect the breakfast setup conducted by the night auditor, adjust as needed.
Cook breakfast items, including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage.
Prepare breakfast items, including cut fruit, oatmeal, waffle batter, pastry and condiment arrangements.
Set up the buffet, keep food items fresh and replenished and restock supplies.
Keep the dining room in impeccable order, clearing plates, wiping down tables and cleaning up spills.
Wash dishes.
Monitor conferences while in session to keep meeting rooms fresh, replenishing coffee, water and supplies in a timely manner.
Clean up after breakfast and all events.
Maintain open communication with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and front desk.
Perform other tasks and assist other departments as needed.
Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Hotels Dress Code Policy.
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent.
Reliable with strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and also as a team player.
Ability to push, pull, carry and lift 30 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift. Moving furniture, frequent walking, standing, bending and stair climbing are also regular requirements of the job.
