What are the responsibilities and job description for the Climber position at Fairway Lawns, LLC?
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for climbing, pruning, and removing trees on residential and commercial properties following ANSI standards at all times.
- Execute work based on tree species' proper pruning practices and company guidelines.
- Perform perfectly executed pruning cuts and skilled rigging practices.
- Ensure meticulous clean-up is performed at each and every jobsite.
- Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 3 years minimum of professional tree climbing experience.
- Proven climbing knowledge and experience utilizing climbing and pruning equipment, including rope systems, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation.
- Experience with rigging and lowering skills to perform tree pruning and removals safely.
- Knows and adheres to ANSI standards at all times.
- Knowledge of cabling, bracing techniques and methods in accordance with ANSI Standards.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
