Faith Students Director
Faith Church, a multisite ministry with five locations in NW Indiana and the suburbs of Chicago, is in search of a gifted leader at its Cedar Lake (IN) location to direct and grow its student ministry (currently serving 50-60 middle and high school students weekly), as well as coordinate a vibrant young adults group. Full-time Exempt (40 hours)
The Faith Students Director will provide leadership in the areas of student development as it relates to Faith Church and Faith Church ministries. This person will work closely with other Faith Church student ministry leaders and the Cedar Lake pastor, and will serve as the point person and leader for the Faith Students ministry in Cedar Lake. Additionally, this person will coordinate and lead regular meetings of young adults who have graduated high school to age 30, including Bible studies, periodic social outings, etc.

- A reliance on the authority of Scripture and prayer.
- A sense of calling to an “equipping of the saints.”
Core Function: The Faith Students Director will live out their discipleship to Jesus Christ by working with the leadership of Faith Church to implement the vision of the church: “Restoring the World One Relationship at a Time.”
Key Roles:
- Oversee program (teaching/singing/small groups/etc) of middle school & high school youth group at the Cedar Lake location
- Implement and edit curriculum in collaboration with the Faith Students team
- Intentionally and strategically partner with parents of middle school & high school students
- Recruit volunteers to serve at Faith Church within the middle school & high school youth groups
- Collaborate with the Faith Students' team developing yearly schedules for such things as: programs and events, retreats, mission trips, partnering with parents, etc.
- Ensure the Faith Church Child Safety & Policies procedures are implemented and followed
- Participate and help develop adult and student leaders in Faith Students
- Plan special events for outreach, growth and service in collaboration with the individual campus
- Support students by attending school and community activities and events
- Provide input, evaluation and vision for the Faith Students team and other ministries at Faith Church as we seek to transform the world one relationship at a time
- Coordinate/Lead Next Generation Group - Planning and carrying out regular meetings for young adults who have graduated high school and are between the ages of 18-30 years old.

- Possesses knowledge of and/or education of principles and practices of Student and Young Adults ministries.
- Demonstrates competence when interacting with students, parents, youth leaders, and co-workers
- Exhibits maturity and biblical knowledge and has the ability to teach others
- Demonstrates ability to recruit, develop and disciple ministry leaders
Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: One year of relevant experience is preferred.
Availability: weekly office hours, weekend services, major holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
