TRANSPORTERS - Now Hiring Full-time & Part-time in Alameda County!
Transporters are responsible for transporting non-emergency medical patients and assisting EMTs in lifting and moving patients. As a Transporter you will be taught proper lifting, patient movement techniques & mechanics and gurney operations. You will work with our operations teams gaining valuable knowledge of EMS policies and procedures, patient interaction, and healthcare operations within the EMS system.

TRANSPORTER DEPLOYMENT STATIONS BY COUNTY
Alameda
Contra Costa
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely Transferring patients from bed or chair to gurney.
Operating a gurney equipped vehicle.
Assisting CCT and BLS crews to safely transport and transfer patients.
Communicating with our dispatch team, hospital nurses and family members.
Helping bring our patients from their residence to the hospital, hospital to hospital or to doctor’s appointments.
Follow all Policies and Procedures for Falcon Ambulance.
Ensure all documentation is completed as a record of patient care.

CREDENTIALS & REQUIREMENTS
American Heart Association CPR for the Healthcare Professional.
Valid California Driver's License
DMV Driving Record
18 years of age or older.
Medical Examiner's Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Perform the physical requirements of a Transporter & pass the Gurney Test.
Frequently lift 150 pounds unassisted and to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
