Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance abuse, as well as an array of other related problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform front desk duties (i.e. answer phones, route calls to designated party, take messages, etc.).
- Manage lobby area, greet visitors, check in clients, request and receive payments from clients, coordinate payment plans as needed.
- Administer toxicology testing for clients as needed; ensure appropriate tracking, storage, and chain of custody processes.
- Maintain communication with local agencies and resources needed to ensure quality client care and provide appropriate referrals as needed.
- Handle client inquiries and complaints.
- Design, implement and maintain an accurate filing systems.
- Establish and maintain procedures for record keeping.
- Coordinate accounts receivables with accounting office at FGC, submit financial reports to accounting as needed, and maintain petty cash.
- Complete all billing/financial reports as assigned.
- Monitor and maintain office and toxicology inventory.
- Review and prepare requisitions for office and toxicology supplies as needed.
- Monitor and maintain office and computer equipment and collaborate with IT personnel as needed.
- Receives incoming deliveries and coordinates receipt of all orders.
- Prepares shipping orders and outgoing deliveries, including packaging and scheduling pick-ups.
- Analyzes and monitors all internal office policies, procedures, and processes; designs and implements process improvement as needed.
- Maintains a safe, secure and confidential working environment.
Schedule:: Monday - Friday (6:00am-2:30p) with rotating Saturdays

Required Experience:
Education and/or Experience: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have customer service experience. High School diploma or GED equivalent with at least 1 year of administrative/office manager experience. Experience in customer service strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of clerical practices and procedures, data and administrative management practices and procedures. Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages. Male Preferred due to DCFS and USPO contracts.
