HOPE Program Specialist
Salary: $18- $25 per hour (Non-Exempt)
Summary of Position: The Program Coordinator position is responsible for assistance and coordination of program operations. Responsibilities include coordination and planning of events; attendance and outreach at community events; community coordination of program data including demographics; maintaining master calendar of events and coordination of trainings and presentations.
Essential Job Duties:
- Coordination and planning of trainings, workshops, and community events.
- Assists with the development and implementation of program campaigns and activities.
- Attends community events and provide outreach support.
- Assists with the development of program reports and other materials.
- Provides purchasing support and maintains inventory of all supplies.
- Assists with the tracking of all in-kind/cash donations.
- Assists Director in the solicitation of specific specialty fundraising efforts such as: Holiday giving; donor designated funds; etc.
- Maintains files, records, data, and routine program support.
- Provides general administrative support to program staff.
- Participates in agency safety and compliance efforts.
- Provides an exemplary model of FSA’s Mission, Vision and Values to management staff and team members.
- Punctual and Regular Attendance.
- Other duties as assigned and necessary.
Report to: Lead Program Specialist
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience providing administrative support.
Experience with event coordination and planning preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
Background Fingerprint Clearance
Drug Test Clearance
Licenses & Certification
Completion of High School Diploma
Current California Driver’s License and Current Automobile Insurance
Physical & Mental Demands:
- Ability to tolerate fast paced and changing work environment.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to bend over and lift 40 lbs.
- Prolonged computer work at times
- Ability to work under demanding conditions.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to work flexible hours and some weekends.
