THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
We are looking for a Compensation Director that will lead the Compensation function by evaluating and developing world class compensation programs for our expanding employee population as well as overseeing our equity programs. Reporting directly to the Total Rewards Vice President, the candidate will be involved in a wide range of duties. We are open to hiring fully remote but ideally looking for a candidate in the New York, Los Angeles or Atlanta markets.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Responsible for the evaluation, development, and implementation of compensation policies and programs that support the organization’s business strategy
- Overall ownership of all equity incentive compensation and ESPP programs
- Oversight of equity administration including employee census data, grants, exercises, sales, releases, terminations, and employee communications
- Lead the compensation team through key enterprise-wide processes including annual year-end merit and bonus cycle
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to address compensation challenges and concerns, including but not limited to talent retention, internal compression, and market competitiveness
- Conduct market studies and analysis to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment to our total rewards philosophy
- Stay up-to-date with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements regarding employee pay.
- Support HR systems transformation and implementation of Ceridian Dayforce compensation and performance modules
- Coach, mentor and provide leadership development to team members to optimize operational excellence and create a deeper bench of experienced talent
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum 10 years of experience in compensation preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Proven work experience with supervisory experience
- Excellent business orientation, with a good understanding of the key drivers, issues and constraints of the business
- Experience supporting companies in Technology preferred
- Results oriented: able to collaborate with different individuals across the organization, and "roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all necessary tasks.
- Experience with an HRIS, preferably Ceridian Dayforce; along with advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of data, organize, analyze and provide recommendations
