Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of patient care related to toxicology, environmental safety, and medication dosing flow. This position requires a commitment to understanding and implementing value-based health/payment principles in all job responsibilities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
- Conduct unobserved and observed toxicology procedures as required, ensuring adherence to protocol and patient privacy.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring patient activities and ensuring compliance with program guidelines.
- Identify and address any patient care issues that may impact treatment outcomes, prioritizing patient safety at all times. In case of potential violence or altercation, seek assistance immediately.
- Facilitate efficient flow for patients receiving medication, ensuring minimal wait times and optimal patient experience.
- Provide coverage and support to engagement staff as needed, contributing to a cohesive team environment.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as faxing, taking phone messages, and other duties to support daily operations.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in healthcare settings, particularly in addiction treatment or related fields, is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and exercise sound judgment.

- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
