Farnsworth Group is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer reporting to our Bloomington, IL office with the flexibility to be based out of either our Champaign, Peoria, Springfield, or St. Louis, MO offices.

Job Activities:

• Manage a variety of water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting and construction
• Preparation of planning studies and reports for evaluation of project alternatives
• Perform hydraulic calculations and modeling for water and sanitary sewer analysis
• Preparation of reports on engineering analysis and modeling results
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to facilitate permit approvals
• Work directly with clients and a multi-discipline design team to manage projects
• Manage construction with client and contractor including periodic site visits and meetings, shop drawing reviews, etc.
  
  
  

Specific Requirements include:

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
• 5 - 15 years of Water/Wastewater Engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Experience with water modeling software such as WaterCAD, InfoWater, and EPANET, preferred
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS preferred
• Willingness to participate in business development activities
• Passion for water and wastewater engineering
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
