Farnsworth Group is seeking an CAD Technician - Electrical in our Champaign, IL office. In this role, you will be working with engineers and designers to create plan sets for various construction projects. Design will be for buildings in diverse markets including advanced manufacturing, higher-ed, healthcare, K-12, municipal, commercial and industrial.

Job Activities:

Work in Revit/AutoCAD/MicroStation to create construction plans
Take markups and sketches from engineers/designers and bring them into AutoCAD/Revit
Coordinate Revit/AutoCAD models with other CAD disciplines
Create as-built drawings from existing building plans and photos
Communicate and interact with engineers, designers, and other drafters

Specific Requirements include:

Associates or Technical Degree with a focus in Computer Aided Drafting
0 -3 years of relative experience
Ability to learn and be a team player
Interpersonal communication skills and professionalism
