General Labor (10pm- 6am)

The General Laborer will be responsible for performing a range of common manual labor duties included, but not limited to labeling, packing, loading, and assembling product for Production, Aerosol and Kit lines. Assists Line Leaders with production and provides assistance in an overall team effort.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing a range of common manual labor duties included, but not limited to labeling, packing, loading, and assembling product for Production, Aerosol and Kit lines.
• Assemble boxes as per customer specifications within established timeline to meet production quotas.
• Pack materials into designated box or kit as per customer specifications.
• Place labels on boxes, plastic bottles etc. as needed.
• Place cap or sprayers on filled products as needed.
• Place empty bottles on conveyer for the filling lines.
• Help stack pallets with boxes with filled products.
• Assist with building pallets of customer product for movement to warehouse.
• Sweep and mop production and shipping floors, and keep departments clean.
• Make sure to wear all proper safety equipment needed at all times.

• Enforce standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times; follow safety and quality policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• No previous experience required.

Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to stand continuously for up to 8 hours daily.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to tolerate fragrances associated with the manufacturing and distribution of cosmetic products.
• Must be able to tolerate working with raw chemicals/materials while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Must be able to tolerate wearing appropriate PPE to include facial masks as needed.
• Must have good hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to continually bend, reach, grasp with both hands repeatedly.
• Must be able to work well and safely in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to pass the pulmonary function test.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
