What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP/SVP, RIA Sales position at Farther?
Job Description
You will present Farther’s wealth management solutions to high-net-worth prospects. You will be a foundational member of our RIA Sales team and you will report to our Head of Advisor growth who will make sure you have all the resources & marketing you need for the sales process.
Initial responsibilities include calling high-net-worth prospects who have requested Farther’s information, meeting with prospects to evaluate their personal situation and provide solutions, educating prospective clients on Farther’s services, helping qualified consumers become Farther’s clients.
Compensation:
- You will be paid a competitive base salary as you step down into full commission for new business closed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 5 years of specifically selling to stock market investors
- Current Investment Adviser Representative designation, OR FINRA Series 65, OR a combination of FINRA Series 7 & 66, OR qualifying financial professional designations
- Experience bringing in new investor business
- Experience in high-volume phone activity and in-person meetings
- Record of six-figure earnings in each of the past 3 years (pay for production compensation model)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
