Responsibilities
Below, we have provided a high level view of what the role entails, with the complete job description discussed in detail during our interviewing process.
- Ability to fulfill all responsibilities of one or more of the following job descriptions, Provider, Nurse, Clinical Tech. X-Ray Technologist or Front Office Specialist
- Coordinates day-to-day activities of the clinic under the guidance of the Manager.
- Monitors clinic queues and messages, assists in resolution coordination.
- Completes monthly clinic inventory while monitoring and maintaining supplies.
- Facilitates training for new hires.
- Maintains clinical schedules under supervision of the manager. Assists with filling late notice call outs, planned and long-term absences.
- Oversees all opening and closing procedures and ensures they are complete by review of daily and closing check-off sheets.
- Serves as point of contact to resolve information technology, maintenance and other clinic issues.
- Assist in coaching clinical staff under the guidance of the manager.
- Responsible for learning the aspects of compliance in the company by completing all mandatory compliance training.
- Train and educate new and existing employees to be successful in their role.
- Supports new and existing employees with additional coaching of work activities to support their success in their role.
- Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA.
- Leads by example to team in attitude and work performance that represents our values.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake
- Triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws and giving injections, etc.
- Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
- Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
- Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
- Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely matter and forwarding charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
- Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company, of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
- The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience Requirements and Preferences:
- At least 1 year of experience in clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.
