Position Purpose/Summary
The Marketing Manager will perform marketing and corporate communications activities for Fastwyre under the direction of the President/General Manager.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides direction and guidance for marketing products and services.
- Coordinates planning and implementation of advertising, internal and external communications programs, and sales promotions.
- Coordinates monthly bill messages and bill stuffers with Customer Service and creates advertising materials, working directly with graphic designer.
- Produces internal and external newsletters.
- Represents the company at community meetings and/or functions in local Midwest markets (Nebraska and Missouri).
- Orders and monitors directory digital advertising (paid social and paid search).
- Managed email marketing campaigns for new prospect and existing customers.
- Manages marketing vendor invoices and budget for local market event activities.
- Drafts and distributes press releases and other Marketing communication.
- Serves as company spokesperson at local events.
- Monitors community activities and makes suggestions on appropriate response/actions to be taken.

- Must be legally employable by any employer in the United States and not require sponsorship.
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, Internet materials, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, newsletter articles and press releases.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages and probability and to apply concepts of statistics.
- Ability to define problems, collect and organize data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- CPR preferred, a valid driver’s license required. Alaska Driver's license pursuant to AS 28.15.021 (2) any employee who will be driving while in the state of Alaska, must obtain an Alaska Driver's license within 90 days of entrance into the state. Failure to do so will result in the termination of your employment until such license in obtained.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with emphasis in marketing, market research, and digital marketing required. Previous experience working in the telecommunications field and prior supervisory experience is preferred. This position requires someone that has extensive experience running email marketing and digital marketing (Facebook, Google) campaigns. Preference will be given to applicants meeting the above criteria with additional training, project coordination, public speaking or telecommunications or CATV experience.
