Program Quality Manager
Overall responsibilities and duties:
The role of a Division Program Quality Manager is to lead the PQL team and to assure the generation of quality deliverables in the PMS. He is in charge of acquisition and program quality activities and responsible to implement right quality methods into the Program Management.
The main missions of the role are:
- Manage the PQLs (budget, allocation of resources, personnel development)
- Lead the program quality activity for the assigned customers
- Assure the respect of PMS (Program & Acquisition Management System) in programs and has veto right during the Gate Reviews
- Perform the QVRs (Quality Validation Reviews)
- Ensure the implementation of 7 Quality Basics in Development
- Represent Quality during the Program Risk Management meetings, Program Steering Committee Review
- Assure PPAP (Parts Production Approval Process) in time
- Assure that the alert process (AMS) is followed for Program issues and that corrective actions are implemented in time
- Initiate corrective actions at the appropriate management level within the company in case of deviations from the initial planning for objective convergence (QCD)
- Ensure capitalization and transversalization and shares best practice
Qualifications:
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in the Automotive industry
