What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auditor position at FCC Behavioral Health?
Job Purpose:
The auditor position will assist the Quality Improvement Department in determining the needs, weaknesses, and strengths in clinical programs throughout the agency. The position will focus on ensuring the delivery of quality and consistent documentation of treatment in clinical programs.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field. Fully licensed in the state of Missouri is preferred.
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience in clinical work.
Core Job Duties:
- Gain an understanding of program operations, evaluate controls, and prepare audit reports with value-added recommendations
- Review charts across mental health programs to ensure that documentation meets standards, including program standards, HIPPA and corporate compliance.
- When applicable, provide training to address concerns that have come up during chart reviews
- Work with Quality Improvement Officer to provide feedback to Chief Operating Officer and assist in strategic planning for the agency
- Work with Quality Improvement Officer to address both concerns and strengths identified in audited charts
- Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
- Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
Salary : $38,900 - $49,200
