We are currently seeking an
HR Business Partner to partner, develop, and implement innovative talent recruitment strategies and solutions for our IT Department and other areas of the organization. You can look forward to working collaboratively in partnership with our leadership team to help optimize business performance. Primary responsibilities include sourcing /recruitment for our IT department, retention, engagement, employee relations, performance management and teammate development/workforce planning (while maintaining FCCI’s culture, commitment to diversity and collaborative team environment.)
This position is located in our Sarasota, FL office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications
Experience
Required
- Bachelors or better in Human Resources or related field. (Note: Relevant progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.)
- Minimum of 2 years in a HR Business Partner experience in a corporate or regional environment to include recruitment in IT, employee relations, teambuilding/engagement, performance management, compensation, and workforce development.
- Experience within Insurance or Financial Services a plus.
- Advanced capability to support the recruitment process by partnering with leaders to source, recruit and select top candidates. (Skilled at creating and publishing job ads, interviewing & attracting top candidates, building pipeline, finding new candidate sources.)
- Must possess broad HR knowledge/capability to provide expertise and guidance in all aspects of employment beyond hiring, to include teammate engagement, goal setting, performance coaching/ management and a path to separation when necessary.
- Must be able to effectively handle highly sensitive and confidential employee matters in order to manage/resolve complex employee relations issues, (partnering closely with management for resolution.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Professional ability to build relationships and help drive a value/performance culture.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills to achieve unit and corporate objectives.
- Experience working in HRIS systems and talent acquisition software.
- Strong ability to multi-task and shift priorities, with an equally strong capability to analyze, define and solve problems; uses independent good judgment and decision-making.
- Experience with UKG Pro helpful.
- Knowledge of regulations that govern employees including, but not limited to FMLA, EEOC, ADA, and ACA.
