Position Overview

The HR Colleague Coordinator has a direct impact on the success of FCR by acting as a key point of contact for new exempt hires and/or helping with the transition for colleagues that are leaving the company. This position is responsible for coordinating the arrangement of equipment pick-up and drop-off when onboarding and offboarding.  The HR Colleague Coordinator should always work and communicate in a manner that represents FCR as an employer of choice, upholding our reputation as a place people want to be, both internally and externally. This role executes on all business imperatives in alignment with FCR’s Mission, Vision, Values.

The Colleague Coordinator will report to the Director of HR.

Essential Functions and Duties

Onboard Focus:

  • Serves as a main point of contact for new exempt hires from offer acceptance to the first several weeks of hire.
  • Provides insights and process improvement recommendations into the applicable business practices to help increase efficiency.
  • Provides prompt and exceptional customer service via chat, email, and phone.
  • Adhere to company, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Always maintains a positive and professional demeanor and attitude toward colleagues.
  • Offer solutions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues from all departments, as necessary.
  • Acts as back-up for the other focus areas, as needed.
  • Special projects and other duties assigned.
  •  Maintain awareness and tracking for scheduled training.
  • Contact each new exempt hire to arrange equipment pickup or delivery.
  • Coordinate with on-site resources for equipment distribution.
  • Communicate needs for any employee unable to start, escalate issues appropriately.

 

Offboard Focus:

  • Coordinates with different departments to ensure smooth transition for offboards.
  • Responsible for responding to offboard requests and monitoring entire process, from initial request to completion of offboard (equipment returned, and final check issued).
  • Track offboard needs for equipment pickup or receipt.
  • Participate in offboard conversation as necessary to arrange equipment drop-off or pick-up.
  • Works with IT to transition returned equipment to distribution centers.
  • Escalate concerns or issues appropriately.

Overall:

  • Support the HR Department with projects as they arise which may include, but are not limited to, on-boarding for new employees, reporting/analytics, process improvement, and administrative tasks as needed to support the overall goals and success of the HR team.

  • Experience in communicating with a diverse population of individuals

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management skills, prioritizing and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to stay calm when colleagues are stressed or upset.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of technology and systems, including Microsoft Office – Outlook, Teams, Forms, SharePoint, etc.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting – ability to walk others through steps for common issues.
  • Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Always strive to continuously improve work ethic, practices, and overall efficiency.
  • Skilled in organizing tasks and establishing priorities.

Additional Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some occasional travel between centers.
  • Adequate and maintained home internet service with sufficient bandwidth to support job function.

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Physical Demands: Sitting up to 100% of the time.
  • Travel Demands: Minimal, roughly 5% or less for the year.
  • Working Conditions: Indoor office environment, use of telephone and headset (up to 100% of the time), computer and other office equipment.

 

FCR Hiring Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

At Home Requirements

Colleagues hired for Work from Home positions are responsible for providing and maintaining a functioning workspace as part of the terms of employment with FCR.

 

Physical Setup

  • Quiet work environment, free of background noise
  • Desk and chair or sit /stand desk meeting the individual’s ergonomic requirements including any special accommodations required.
  • This position requires that you work from the address listed on your employee profile.

 

Technology

  • A high-speed, Internet connection is required and must be available at all times. 
  • Phone (Smartphone, landline, cell phone) to communicate with your supervisor or IT Help desk when your computer is not available.
