Business Development Manager

Feature Flooring, Inc. is seeking a full time Business Development Manager . The main products we sell are seamless epoxy and cementitious urethane flooring systems for restaurants, hotels, industrial and institutional customers. This position will be primary responsible for developing and implementing a sales and marketing strategy, leading the efforts of the sales team, working side by side with them, and ensuring that company sales goals are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a motivated and resourceful professional who has territory sales experience in the commercial flooring or a related construction field, a proven track record based on metrics, and ability to create and execute a sales growth plan.

The right fit will be someone who enjoys building rapport with their team and clients, and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their team. Must be willing and capable of learning our products and installation processes first-hand in order to drive a successful sales effort.

Occasional travel will be required to visit customers or job sites in the mid-Atlantic area (mostly same day, by car).

Responsibilities Include:

• Refining the company sales and marketing plan;
• Overseeing the daily activities of the sales staff;
• Developing sales channels through decision makers and owners;
• Generating appointments;
• Cold calling;
• Estimating new jobs, preparing proposals and following up to close sales;
• Metric-based tracking of sales initiatives and daily activities;
• Collaboration with the finance team to report and analyze sales results;
• Assisting in planning and building a residential line of business.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
