Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
As an IT Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing an array of IT technical support and desktop assistance to our staff in New York City and the surrounding area. You will be responsible for responding to a variety of support requests such as trouble-shooting applications, OS installs, system upgrades, password resets, and iOS support. You will carry out physical on-site support and configuration or inspection of products and services. In addition, you will provide support and training for a variety of new and existing technologies to various internal departments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver IT support excellence
- Accountability for various technical resources and deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Support and advance process improvement
- Document or update IT procedures
- Mount, rack, install and support a complex Data closet to included switches, routers, and access points.
- Work with ISPs to coordinate new installs, moves, and terminations.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field.
- Microsoft Certifications relevant to the current technology and systems
- 3 years previous experience supporting relevant technologies and systems
- Or, the equivalent combination of experience, education, or certifications
