General Summary….
The IT Customer Solutions Principal is responsible for delivering FedEx’s customer full consultation and implementation. This role ensures the right business solutions are delivered to meet the customer and operational requirements. The IT Customer Solutions Principal is responsible for aligning IT, customer, and operational requirements to form a solution that can delivered thru application configuration and product development. The position is responsible for guiding and consulting with implementation teams that are responsible for delivering FedEx Developed products and 3rd party WMS solutions to meet the defined solution capabilities. This role is responsible for working with customer implementation teams to resolve complex solutions, issues and work with product management to define customer need. Prioritization and sequencing actions are critical to meet the required delivery timelines. Responsible for working within the organization to review customer needs, demand for capacity and prioritization.

- Work with the Implementation and product development agile teams to define and review solution specifications for core and edge product deliverables.
- Provide communication on solution, product enhancements and status of implementation activities.
- Work to establish, maintain, and update strategy (methodology, processes, standards, tools, services) used in customer implementations
- Understands and supports prioritized work by collaborating with Solution Architect, Business Architect, Product Owners and stakeholders involved in implementations to assist with answering questions to deliver the required capabilities
- Works with system and solutions technology members to influence decision-making and sequencing of product development capabilities and initiatives to meeting implementation timelines.
- Acts as customer advocate for the product and solutions working with Architects and Product Management for comprehensive product that incorporates solution required to support implementation, core and edge capabilities.
- Interacts with Product managers and implementation agile team to review demos to validate the most critical aspects of a solution and negotiate the reality of systems solutions needed for customer implementations.
- Collaborates with implementation teams to determine cross-program impacts, interdependency of work and priorities, capacity, plans for communication, coordination and delivery of implementation.
- Contributes to and helps lead capacity management and planning by defining and presenting the needs of the customers to ensure successful on time delivery to customer commitments.
- Communicates with stakeholders on progress of solutions.
- Builds relationships and influences leadership, customers, Architects, Product Managers and customer implementation team to deliver solution that conform to repeatable standard.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math required with 8-10 years of experience as minimum. In addition to minimum experience, an additional four (4) years of relevant, demonstrated experience working as a key member of a project team developing business processes, solutions, creating business requirements and delivering business capabilities will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, specifically with product management / product ownership desired.
- Experience in Warehouse Management Systems specifically in Manhattan Warehouse Management Operating System (WMOS) is preferred.
- Experience in configuration, implementation, customizations, and enhancements in Enterprise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for 3PL customers.
- Demonstrate good understanding of the Warehouse Management related business process flows.
- Understanding of Manhattan system process flows desired.
- Demonstrate knowledge on the typical integrations such as between an ERP and WMS systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with emphasis on customer service.
- Strong team player.
- Knowledge of Agile and Lean values/concepts
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex ideas, break them down into smaller, sequential plan, while understanding interdependencies to deliver solutions
- Uses solutions-based thinking in problem solving, asking probing questions and looking for underlying issues
- Strong influencing skills to guide a team to understand Product/Program Features and impact of deliverables
- Strong influencing skills with customers to understand the system and capabilities for deliverables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to inform teams and stakeholders
- Business acumen and ability to understand the larger company strategy
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office and web-based applications
