Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking a System Administrator to serve on a team responsible for the management and oversight of multiple development, test, and production environments for a remote software/IT support project. To be considered for this position, the candidate must be a United States citizen with a Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, test, production, and training environments for the system.
- Operates, maintains, and supports system servers and network infrastructure.
- Provides system administration support.
- Supports backup, restore, and continuity of operations.
- Installs, configures, and maintains software.
- Manages software licensing.
- Performs system and network configuration management.
- Transitions all environments from a data center to a cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
Experience/Skills:
- Education, training, or experience in system administration and management.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
- Must be able to patch schedules, perform patch works on own, and resolve Tier II and Tier III troubles
Education:
- BS/BA degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar, or commensurate experience.
Certifications:
- Security CE.
- MCSE or equivalent preferred
Clearance:
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
