General Duties/Responsibilities Develop strong coordination between warehousing and transportations to optimize costs and minimize inventory. Development of performance metrics including PPLH, Warehouse Utilization rate and monitoring of overall trucking budget. Responsible for the coordination and administration of the annual audited inventory count at all locations Oversee the coordination of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers while minimizing transportation costs and optimizing delivery routes. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain, including supplier qualification, product testing, and quality control processes. Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains across the supply chain through data analysis, performance metrics, and benchmarking initiatives. Build staffing models to ensure optimization of resources. Lead and mentor a team of logistics and warehouse professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success and growth. Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities Follow GMP policy when in the production facility and encourage your team to do the same. Understand our SQF policies relating to pest control, visitors, allergen management, and cleaning and sanitation. Demonstrate awareness of Management's Commitment to SQF and work towards Food Safety and Quality and help the company meet this commitment. If there is a problem that involves food quality and safety, report to the Quality Assurance Manager Manager so that the CAPA (corrective action, preventative action) log may be filled out, the situation be investigated, and resolved with the goal of continuous improvement of food quality and safety. Required Skills/Abilities Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in ERP systems. Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to galvanize, lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10years of experience in Warehouse and Transportation management, preferably in the food or beverage industry. Work Environment/Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Requires occasional standing, walking, pushing, pulling, walking on wet surfaces. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times, 50lbs of shared lifting. Must remain aware of forklifts and pallet jack traffic Noisy; some areas may be dusty. May encounter extreme swings in temperature. Travel requirement of up to 20%
