What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainer II position at FEFA, LLC?
FEFA, LLC is seeking a Trainer II/Training Specialist in animal care located in Bethesda, MD. This description is not all-inclusive of the duties required to complete the job daily. Employees are expected to complete all assigned duties each day as directed by management.
Compensation is based on skills and experience.

JOB DUTIES:
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures.
- Provide training to individuals with various skill levels and backgrounds on different animal use methodologies.
- Perform, develop, and provide training on the following small animal techniques.
- Maintain accurate and updated training records including database management.
- Schedule training sessions.
- Possess the necessary skills to produce tracks and voiceovers for storyline production.
- Collaborate with investigators, veterinarians, managers, and others to develop and refine training modules.
- Ability to present data, announcements, and/or training material.
- Attend meetings as directed.
- Review data and provide trend information.
- Review and compare data to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Possess necessary computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Zoom.
- Communicate information to management and staff.
- Perform other training and administrative duties as directed by management.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior college degree and training experience or High School Diploma with 4 years of related technical training experience
- LATG certification required
- Advance experience with using Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Must possess knowledge, skills and abilities of program training and technical procedures
