Cabinet Assembler

FOUR DAY WORK WEEK: MONDAY - THURSDAY 6:30am - 5:00pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Verify and double check all calculations to ensure alignment of parts for the end product, always using blueprints or design plans for reference
• Construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the specified dimensions and ensure the highest quality possible
• Communicate component issues with other departments as needed
• Be exact in measurements and markings so that materials will be used efficiently, and the projects will meet cost targets
• Clean and confirm that all equipment necessary for your work is maintained in safe working order, including various saws and a variety of drills and sanding tools
• Reinforce joints/attachments to maximize sturdiness and durability without compromising aesthetic appeal or functionality
• Secure and maintain material and supplies to operate machine according to work instructions
• Operate within standard operation procedures and job safety analysis
• Be precise, organized and willing and able to help perform tasks in a timely manner as needed to help the constant flow of materials
• Ability to glue, staple and screw parts together in an efficient manner
• Ability to operate a fork truck
• Safety must always remain a top priority for yourself and your co-workers
• Other duties as may be assigned at manager’s discretion

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING
▪ High school education or equivalent

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
▪ Wood working experience is helpful, but not required
▪ FCI is willing to provide additional training under certain circumstances

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
▪ Able to pass a drug test/background check

COMPENSATION
▪ $60,000-70,000 including benefits (pending experience)
