Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a long term care setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform specimen collection, processing, and analysis
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team
- Assist with procedures as needed
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- IA or compact state license
- Long term care experience preferred
- Medication administration
-Comfortable working independently
- 0-2 years of experience as a RN or LPN
Skills:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
