Senior Production Manager

We are searching for a talented and experienced customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Production Manager.  Our Senior Production Managers provide pre-event planning with account managers, and the account executives and clients’ needs, and expectations are met in the most efficient way possible. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service both internally and externally.   If this sounds like the role for you, please read on and apply.

 What you will be doing:

• Support Account Executives and a primary point of contact and liaison for clients and Fern Account Executives; responding to and coordinating the delivery of client requests.
• Source for gathering information from clients/account executives, organizing the information, assuring the materials and labor are available, and managing labor to complete the job.
• Manage and assist other sales personnel with corporate clients and trade shows.
• Pre-event planning with account managers to ensure all required products and Fern equipment are ready and get to the show site and return to Fern after the show. 
• Maintaining an ongoing understanding of the costs (labor, materials, equipment, etc.) associated with the production of events to assist Account Executives with creating accurately priced and planned client proposals.
• Troubleshoot onsite problems/issues as they arise.
• Pre-show planning and Post-show activities.
• Lead and oversee local labor in achieving the goals and timelines outlined for an event.
• Create a “Production Notes” file to document any observations or ideas on improving the production of the event in the future.
• Pulling and prepping and billing client-owned displays.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in trade shows, live events, or related industries preferred
• Proven experience in managing crews of 10 or more.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong client relationship and service delivery experience
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
