Overview of the Role
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper with Accounting experience. Must be proficient with the use of advanced technologies (advanced Excel Skills, QuickBooks, and/or other Accounting Systems). The responsibilities include recording and tracking financial data as directed by the Finance Manager.
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Salary: $50,000 per year
What You Will Do at CA Ferolie
- General Accounting includes operating the general ledger system and month-end close work.
- Recording accounts receivable activity both deposits and invoices.
- Advanced calculations involving contracts and detailed data.
- Accounting for all facets of the company-run cafeteria.
- Weekly analysis and accounting of van program operations.
- Responsible for downloading bank statements and bank account details. Monthly reconciliation of multiple bank Accounts through the Accounting system.
- Prepare and submit invoices to the payables (Concur) system.

Requirements
What You Should Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s Degree (B. A.) or equivalent, preferably with a major in accounting; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting systems as well as complex Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Contributes to building a positive team spirit; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
