Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic partner with Operations, Distribution, Finance, Marketing and Procurement.
  • Collaborates with other leaders in developing and executing inventory management metrics and initiatives.
  • Responsible for month-end financial close activities regarding manufacturing and inventory, including supplemental reporting and variance analysis.
  • Review payroll and employee benefit plans
  • Prepares new product costs for marketing and FP&A
  • Assist with new ERP implementation
  • Interacts with financial institutions
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly manufacturing financial results for plant management
  • Develops the labor, overhead and material components of the annual manufacturing budget and works with operations to develop the expense budgets
  • Oversee HR, Inventory, Marketing, Purchasing, & Accounting
  • Develops capital project justifications
  • Supports Annual Audit Process
  • Corporate Performance Management System champion
  • Other duties as needed/assigned

Job Requirements (Education, Work Experience, Certifications, Skills):

  • 4-year BS/BA or related degree from an accredited institution. CPA a plus
  • 8 years’ experience, including relevant manufacturing experience in accounting, budgeting, and performance management
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks, and other ERP
  • Proven management experience
