The Kennel Manager position is a key role within our kennel program that provides daily care for our puppies and assists all of our stores with kennel maintenance. The position involves cleaning, bathing, light grooming, exercising, and feeding of our puppies. The Kennel Manager is also responsible for cleaning and sanitizing pet condos, administering medication, and monitoring the well-being of our puppies. Fetch Puppies provides a professional Kennel Managment Training Program.
The ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care for our puppies and share our enthusiasm about the pet industry as well as have a desire to be a part of an industry leading company. Be prepared for a lot of kisses and affection from our puppies!
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily care of our puppies
- Bathing, light grooming, exercising, feeding, administering medication, and monitoring behavior
- Assist with kennel maintenance and cleaning
- Maintaining animal records: weight, physical condition, medications given, food intake, and other potential data as needed
- Washing, drying, and folding laundry
- Must be able to lift 40lbs or more, stoop, bend and stand on feet for long periods of time
- Other duties
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License (Required)
- May require background check
Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience with animals preferred but not required
- Positive attitude

- Team oriented, enjoys working as part of team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the kennel
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
- Ability to lift more than 40 lbs.
- Certain assignments may require other qualifications and skills
Job Type: Full-Time/Part Time
- Compensation is commensurate with experience. Salary range $30,000 - $50,000 based on experience
