What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Alumni Services & Resources position at FHE Health?
FHE Health is a healthcare institution that delivers quality, medically integrated personalized treatment for those suffering from Behavioral Health Disorders. We are located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. We are proud to ethically serve the South Florida community as well as the nation with our healthcare services. We specialize in addictive disorders and other behavioral health diagnoses such as mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and traumatic disorders. We employ a team of highly qualified, compassionate individuals who share in the desire to serve this vulnerable population. We provide innovative treatment by creating an environment that promotes healing and optimized learning.
We understand that recovering from a substance abuse disorder is not a process that happens overnight, and that long-term solutions must be in place to prevent relapse. The steps taken right after rehab are crucial for patients merging back into the real world and we believe that an extensive array of care is essential to ensure success for our drug and alcohol treatment patients. That is why we manage the process ourselves, ensuring that every patient’s needs are met during the transition to a lower level of care.
We assist those utilizing our outpatient programs in handling real-world difficulties they may encounter, such as maintaining a sober-living environment, job placement assistance, resume building, and access to our Alumni center and computer lab. We like to give our patients all of the tools they will need in order to maintain success during their recovery, so our alumni center offers a 24/7 support network, allowing for continuous contact to be kept between peers.
Our aftercare programs are flexible and allow every person to get the continued care they need. No matter what work, school, or life responsibilities exist, it is possible to find a way to keep getting treatment and ensure your long-term health and sobriety.
Graduates of our treatment programs are encouraged and welcomed to utilize our resources and services at no cost. Once you are a patient at FHE Health, you are a part of the recovery family. Support from our ongoing services gives graduates the help that may be needed once treatment is completed to help continue a life of sobriety. Resources provided for patients who have completed our program include:
- Lifetime access to the Resource Center with computer and internet availability
- Complete care from medical and psychiatric services
- Job assistance and placement programs
- Interview skill development and resume building career services
- Aftercare housing placement services
- Transportation assistance services
- 24/7 Alumni support
- Community volunteer and recreational alumni events
We take pride in the fact that we encourage our alumni to be active members of the community. Numerous charities have helped us give back to the community and have become a part of our family.
