Position Overview
The Human Resources Director will support People and Culture initiatives along with business operations The role will work very closely with the leadership team as well employees. This position reports directly to the VP of Human Resources in Dallas, Texas.
Essential Job Functions
- Acting as a coach and local point of contact in terms of human resources issues, being an interface between business and the internal and external clients/stakeholders.
- Managing employee relations
- Overall responsibility for personnel located in regional office, hereunder support local managers ensuring that personnel policies and procedures are compliance with local legislation
- Support corporate office in Dallas, Texas ensuring compliance with personnel standards and personnel handbook according to local regulations.
- Acting as a principal contact for labor issues, inspections and other similar legal issues.
- Partnering with leaders (staffing, compensation and benefits, administrative) in order to develop and implement different projects for sustaining the business needs.
- Participate in the identification of areas for staff development and training and act as key contact with training providers for the commissioning, content, delivery and evaluation of training.
- Take part in our talent- and leadership development program.
- Full Cycle Recruiting – Lead and participate in the complete cycle of the selection process including needs analysis, interviewing, and employee offers and onboarding.
- Ensure that group initiatives related to HR are implemented locally.
- Organizing and planning people/culture initiatives.
- Assisting with integration planning and execution activities.
- Works with multiple vendors, government agencies and other service providers for various HR functions.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration and overall personnel changes.
- Performs special projects for the VP of Human Resources.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced HR Business Partner who is a confident self-starter and possesses the gravitas and credibility to be quickly accepted by the senior management team.
- This role requires someone who will be comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and will appeal to an individual who has the experience and confidence to act decisively and to make things happen. It requires a businessperson who is committed to drive organization performance improvement.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with work within human resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Major in human resources or related to field.
- Knowledge of regional/local labor laws and government regulations.
- Good understanding of regional/local compensation, payroll and benefits practices.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with an international company and/or cultures.
- Excellent English and Spanish skills are required.
