RN - Step Down Unit
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Pay Package:
Pay Rate: $59.00 / hr
Stipend: $1,512
Weekly Gross: $3,872
Shift Details:
Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
12 hours / shift, 3 days per week weekend hours
Hours per week: 40.00
Every other weekend required. Holidays Required. No-On Call
Job Description:
Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 1 year of Stepdown. Telemetry, experience with vents & trached patients.
- BLS-AHA & ACLS-AHA required.
- Experience with some infusions (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Cardene).
- Neurological assessments is a plus!
- Must be willing to float as needed**
UNIT: Surgical, Trauma, Neuro Stepdown & Neurocritical Care Unit
Compliance Credentials Needed:
- Required. BSN
- Preferred Current NJ RN License (compact allowed)
- COVID Vaccination plus booster
- Current Flu shot
- Current NIHSS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
