This position is located in Mandeville, LA, 70471.
The Processor 3 is responsible for assembling and verifying the loan documentation needed for processing the loan application.
Job Requirements:
- GED or High School diploma
- Six years’ experience in mortgage loan processing
- Recent experience processing Conventional, FHA, RD, VA, and Bond purchase and refinance loans and HELOCs
- Encompass experience
- Working knowledge of titles and escrows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and strong time management skills
- Ability to professionally interact directly with clients, real estate agents, title companies, and Sales and Operations staff
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
Preferred:
- Seven years mortgage processing experience
- Mortgage underwriting experience
Specific Job Functions:
- Able to process an average of 20-30 loans per month to meet a minimum of 20 closed files per month
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with assigned loan officers
- Communicate effectively with all parties in a timely manner
- Ability to process all loan types and programs - Conventional, FHA, VA, RD, Bond, Non-Conforming, Portfolio and HELOCs
- Analyze and calculate all types of income to ensure loan qualification
- Request, receive and validate all loan documents received are satisfactory and meet program guidelines
- Update title fees, payoffs, and escrows in system
- Validate funds for closing and update system
- Analyze documentation received to verify pertinent to the condition, AUS Findings, and support other documentation in the loan file
- Maintain working knowledge of loan guidelines to verify loan files meet all criteria throughout process
- Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability.
- Performs other duties as appointed by management
