What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Title Assistant position at Fidelity National Title?

Looking for a change? Fidelity National Title is seeking a Full Time Title Assistant for its National Commercial Services Operation located in Los Angeles, CA. This position will support a high volume National Commercial Title unit that handles transactions in Southern CA and the rest of the United States.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Title Officers and Senior Title Officers at a high level within their functional area with title industry processes and policies.
  • Handles a complex and an advanced variety of administrative functions within a functional area.
  • Duties include, but are not restricted to those of a clerical and administrative nature which have an impact on company and departmental data / records including those of a highly confidential nature.
  • Prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for solution of the problem.
  • Resolves problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
  • Compiles data based on research techniques and on statistical compilations involving an understanding of operating programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Issues documents in accordance with departmental rules, legal or statutory requirements

  • 1 years of title or escrow experience preferred!
