Responsibilites:
Provide residents with medication & treatment administration and care servicesaccordingtothe physician's orders
Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatoryguidelines
Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution and incidents; Observeresidents for safety and reports any and all changes in resident condition effectively,accurately,and in a timely mannertoLN on duty
Assisting residents with ADL tasks including but not limited to: assisting with bathing,grooming,toileting,dressing,oralcare,ambulation,transfers,servingandassistingwith meals,feeding,housekeeping,bedmaking,andlaundry
Always observe and uphold resident rights; assist residents to and from meals; Relatetoresidentsin a courteous, empathetic,and cooperative manner
Must be willing to work with and provide assistance to other staff from all departments toensure quality of care for residents
Communicates with physicians, via fax and telephone
Observes for and reports resident problems and reports such problems to supervisor
Additional Functions:
Must be neat in appearance, pleasant personality, be congenial to fellow team members, residents, families and the public in general. Must be capable of using own judgement and initiative in daily duties.
Always demonstrates safe working practices.
Maintains a professional image to residents and fellow co-workers in words, actions and in appearance
Always maintain confidentiality and privacy of our residents and staff.
Must be a mature individual.Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-pacedenvironmentandperformavarietyoftasks,oftenchangingassignmentsonshortnotice.
Must be detail and teamwork oriented and have strong organizational skills, as well as theability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
MustbeDrugfree
Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check and TB test.
Must be eighteen (18) years old.
Maintains current CPR and first aid certification or willing to obtain
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret charting standards, physician orders, or administrative regulations.
Ability to prioritize, organize and delegate assignments.
Mustattendrequiredin-services & education tofurthereducationofskillsand community requirements.
Successfulcompletionofstatecertified AL medication techcourse with certificates available upon hire.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing in standard English.
The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.
Physical Demands and Requirements:
Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
