JOB SUMMARY
The Innovation Manager is accountable for the development and delivery of on-time and on-budget for brand innovation, renovation and product development plans, and ultimately for their results. These plans need to be executed in keeping with the company and brand strategy as well as in compliance with existing innovation processes. This position has a pivotal role bringing other functions together in the execution of these innovation plans from opportunity identification or briefing through commercialization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cross-functional innovation / renovation projects from ideation through commercialization ensuring achievement of innovation targets.
- Develop & maintain a robust innovation pipeline to ensure continuous flow of new ideas to keep up with the pace of the market.
- Lead and contribute to the development of innovation pipelines and plans.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitive innovation.
- Lead innovation / renovation / product development projects from ideation to commercialization
- Work with FIFCO USA insights team to build insight testing and market research plans throughout the development and stage gate process .
- Develop select innovation briefs for portfolio opportunities based on segmentation and market opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional innovation project teams.
- Leading ideation process, design brief development and all steps of front innovation process in collaboration with Brand Team through project commitment to ensure successful project launch.
- Work closely with R&D in the development of best in class products for our consumers.
- Conduct post-evaluation of innovation / renovation projects.
- Assist in creation and management of innovation roadmap grounded in consumer insight.
- Develop new pack formats in response to brand briefs and opportunities identified by revenue management.
- Lead value engineering of products when required.
- Analyze innovation P&L and drive corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure budget and process control.
- Bring a consumer-centric approach to innovation which puts our consumers, shoppers and customers at the forefront of all decision making.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum: 7 years professional experience in marketing, innovation, brand management in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Preferred: previous experience in leading/co-leading innovation, product development, consumer insights etc.
- Project management experience is an advantage
- Previous experience in Bev Alc or CPG is a plus
