Warehouse Material Handler

FIG is seeking a dependable Warehouse Material Handler who is detail oriented and possesses the physical and mental stamina this role requires. You will play an important role in ensuring our warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Primary lead for all shipping and receiving. Maintain inventory and shop environment.

· Work under supervision as well as independently.

· Help to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks.

· Properly scan and track incoming and outgoing orders.

· Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents.

· Inspect receivables for defects, damages or missing items.

· Unload, stack, move and place products in designated areas.

· Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc. to transfer and deliver goods.

· Perform detailed manual inventory counts.

· Meticulously check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders.

· Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOP's).

· Diligently adhere to health and safety rules and regulations.

· Wear protective clothing and equipment as required.

· Work with other team members to effectively complete assigned tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Computer literate. Microsoft Office knowledge highly recommended.

· Previous warehouse experience preferred.

· Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training.

· Physical stamina; must be able to lift 30-50 pounds at a time.

· Able to work long hours on one’s feet and perform physically demanding tasks.

· OK with shift work and possible overtime hours.

· Excellent verbal communicator.

· Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment.

· Thorough, alert and detail oriented.

· Dependable and responsible with a strong work ethic. We are open Monday - Friday with weekends off. We are looking for employees who can show up each day ready to work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
