What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Cashier / District Food Service position at Findlay City SD?
- This position works for 7 hr./ day from 6:45 am-2:15 pm. (- 1/2 hr. lunch)

Responsibilities include and are not exclusive to:
- training cashiers for all buildings
- assist with breaks for cashiers during their work day
- make sure all daily reports from cashiers are accurate
- make deposits for the bank on a timely basis
- Prepare for all state reporting with the POS system within the time constraints
- Adhere to the regulations and policies of the local, school and National School Breakfast and Lunch programs
- Carefully follow directions given by food service director / assistant director
- Responsible to ensure cashier drawers are counted and accurate
- Make sure student tickets are distributed properly to cashier (when applicable)
- Work with cashiers if having accuracy concerns with the POS program
- Always communicate with students, staff and coworkers using tact and interact in a positive manner at all times.
- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attiutude and conversation
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director/assistant director
- Punctuality - report on and off job at proper time
- Qualifying applicant needs to have excellant math skills, excellent organizational skills and be a dependable self starting, team oriented person with a positive attitude
- Training in HACCP and sanitation methods are valuable, or the qualifying individual may obtain the necessary training for this.
