What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Paint Technician position at FinishFirst Auto Appearance?
Our company is looking to expand. We are offering a position to become a sub licensee for our company in a new market.
What We Are Looking For: Because this is a self employment opportunity, we are looking for someone who is driven and able to work efficiently on their own. Must be consistent, hard-working and be physically capable to work outdoors in weather. A portion of this job does require sales, so any previous experience in this area would be helpful but not necessary.
What We Do: Sub licensees work at car dealerships to repair and fix automotive paint and scratches on cars, saving the dealerships time and money from repainting. We use a special method for doing so and superior paint products, offering something better than what is available on the market. Our company has superior products that you cannot get except through the licensee agreement. Because of this, we have an easier time getting work from dealerships over our competition.
How Job Works: We provide free workshops where you learn the needed skills, paint techniques, sales methods, etc. Workshops are 2 week courses located in SACRAMENTO, CA. Upon completion, you will be responsible for using what you have learned to go into automalls in your area and make a pitch to dealerships. After a while you will build up multiple accounts and be able to set your own schedule of work hours.
Payment: You fill out invoices for the work you have done and submit them to the dealerships. After that we work with them on billing and payments. The average charge per car is $65.
Starting at 55% you get a percentage of the work you bill for. Bonus at $5501 and you receive 60%, at $8001 you receive 65% of profits.
Example: 150 cars/month x $65 = $9,750
$9,750 x 65% = $6,337.50
In the beginning you will still be getting comfortable with the techniques, and might be able to do about 5-7 cars a day. However, you will speed up and be able to get to 15 cars a day depending on the dealership and how much you are willing to work. Working 20 days a month doing 15 cars will get you 300 cars (see payment example). You get what you put into it.
As a sub-licensee, you will be working for yourself, setting your own hours. However, you will have the full support of our company. Our number one reason for success over other businesses offering a similar service, besides the quality of our work, is that we avail you of our specialized methods and will keep in contact with you to make sure you are having similar success, and will work to help you through challenges if we can. We want our licensees to be successful in representing our name. Because our product is not available for general sale, this keeps us miles above other touch-up businesses. We are now looking to expand because of the great success we have had in the nation. We want you to be successful too
