Overview:
We are seeking a part-time sales associate to join the team this fall! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for selling products in a retail environment. This position begins in September 2024. Weekends will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicate product features and benefits to customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process POS (Point of Sale) transactions efficiently
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for customer service enhancement
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers
- Ability to sell products persuasively
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor
- Proficiency in English; multilingual skills are advantageous
- Previous experience in technical sales or within a grocery store setting is beneficial
