We are seeking a passionate and proactive Outreach Sales Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to apartment communities, 55 communities, low-income communities to schedule presentations and assist eligible utility customers in enrolling for community solar projects. Your primary objective will be to educate low-moderate income residents about the benefits of community solar initiatives and facilitate their participation in these programs. You will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with various organizations and scheduling other events, such as festivals and store locations, to help drive community solar subscriptions.
As a renewable energy facilitator, we help utility customers reduce their carbon footprints, and their energy costs, through partnerships with community solar developers, rooftop solar installers, and clean energy suppliers.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication abilities, organizational skills, sales experience and a passion for making a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential opportunities through targeted research in our company's territory footprint (North East region and soon IL)
- Reach out and coordinate road shows at LMI (low-moderate income) communities
- Schedule events such as festivals, home/garden shows, retail set ups, and other such high traffic opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to staff opportunities and ensure sales targets are met
- Report to management about ideas, opportunities, successes and challenges
- Organize green initiatives, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities for our company's staff
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in partnership management, business development or direct sales
- Proficient in data collection, research, and analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in using databases and CRM systems for managing partnerships
- Familiarity with events management processes
- Knowledge of social media platforms for outreach efforts
- Experience with recruitment a plus
Benefits:
- Base pay $31,200 yearly plus weekly commissions

Once this individual perfects their systems, there will be an opportunity to hire and manage a sales staff dedicated to these events/retail efforts.
